Am I Giving Away My Power by Asking for Support from the Guides?

Participant: I feel I'm giving away my power by asking for support from the guides and all the beings in the meditations. Now I'm in my power. All the asking doesn't feel needed. It creates an inner conflict. I want to follow the meditations, but I also want to be true to myself. What can you say about this?

Alcazar: Beloved one, when you are hungry do you worry about going to the store and asking the shopkeeper to sell you some food? Do you say, "Oh, I'm in my power now, so I don't need any help from the shopkeeper or any of the other services that I receive in my life?" They make your life easier. It is the same with the guides. We can support you on your journey. We are not taking the power away from you. In fact, it's the opposite. We are supporting you in discovering more and more of the power of the presence that you are. You say, "Now I am in my power." We would say to you, "No, you are not." You are beginning to get a taste of what it is like. If you choose to go this journey alone, perfectly okay. We are not saying you have to ask, you have to rely on the guides. But if you don't want to rely on the guides, why are you asking this question? So, it is for all of you to understand that we are here to support you. We are not here to tell you what to do. We can respond to your questions and make suggestions. We have said many times, listen to what we are saying. Feel if it is appropriate for you or not. If you don't feel it is appropriate for you, forget it.... So, understand that we are coming from a place of love and respect.
