Many room options have a long flight of outdoor steps to reach the main building where the event and dining area are located.
An elevator is available in the main building.
If you have mobility issues, we recommend booking a room in the main building.
MOUNTAIN VIEW
KING OR TWO TWIN BEDS
The Mountain Room double has a step-out balcony and large windows with an extraordinary mountain view to take in the true sound healing in Costa Rica.
The room is tastefully furnished and provides the perfect space for one or two people. It has a king-sized bed or two twins with a full en suite bathroom with solar hot water, air conditioning, and overhead fan.
These rooms have a safety box large enough to fit a 17″ laptop computer. The Mountain View Rooms are located in the main building, reachable by stairs or elevator.

HERMITAGE ROOM
QUEEN BED
(for singles or couples)
The Hermitage Rooms are located in the main building, reachable by stairs.
The rooms feature a little desk, full en suite bathroom with solar hot water, air conditioning, and overhead fan.
This room option can be booked with a queen-sized bed, specifically designed for couples or singles, providing privacy and elegance, while being budget-friendly.

NATURE SUITES
KING OR TWO TWIN BEDS
Nature Suites are spacious, cozy, and located on a hillside amid the surrounding jungle and gardens, a long walk to the main building (reception, dining-hall, etc.).
They are beautifully designed natural wood frame structures, with solar hot water, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and an en suite full bathroom with an outdoor shower overlooking the jungle.
Each Suite sleeps two people (available with a king or two twin size beds) and includes a daybed, a dedicated workspace area, and a safety box large enough to fit a 17 laptop computer.

ECO-COTTAGE
TWO TWIN BEDS
The Eco-Cottages are a 10-minute hike away via a stone stairway from Blue Spirit’s main building (reception, dining-hall, etc.) and situated in lush vegetation, allowing for a sensual being-in-touch experience with nature.
Each Eco-Cottage consists of a natural wood frame structure that houses two twin beds and a full yet compact ensuite bathroom with an ambient temperature shower.
There are screens for natural ventilation, an overhead ceiling fan, electric outlet(s), and a safety box large enough to fit a 17″ laptop computer. A mosquito net is available upon request.

How To Get To Blue Spirit Costa Rica
Arriving by Plane
International Airports
You can fly into either of Costa Rica’s two international airports:

Liberia International Airport (LIR) – Recommended for those travelling from North America or Europe. It’s about 2.5–3 hours from Blue Spirit and has many flights from the U.S. and Canada.

San José International Airport (SJO) –Flying to SJO is also an option as sometimes flights from the US, Canada, or other parts of the world are less expensive or more direct than flying into Liberia.
Transfers from Airports
Transfers from Liberia International Airport (LIR)
Group Shuttle (Blue Spirit)
Available on Saturdays only (arrival and departure days). Shuttle times are coordinated with flight arrivals.

Private Shuttle Services

Transfers from San Jose International Airport (SJO)
Blue Spirit does not run regular group shuttles from/to San Jose International Airport. The options are either to hire a taxi or rental car. The drive to Blue Spirit can take at least 5 hs.
Alternatively, take a domestic charter flight to Nosara.
Shuttle service: Transportation requests must be made directly with the shuttle company Nosara Shuttle here.
Domestic flight to Nosara Airport: An option to take a 40-minute flight from/to SJO Airport to/from the local Nosara Airport is available and operated by Sansa Flights. More information here: https://www.flysansa.com/en
From the domestic aiport you can arrange for a taxi/shuttle to pick you up from Nosara Domestic Airport. Nosara Shuttle here. There are tuk-tuks available as an alternative waiting after each arrival.

Rental Car
You may reserve your own rental car to drive from the airport to Blue Spirit. However, a car is not needed during your stay with us. One recommended is natcar, as this car rental agency allow one-way rentals for you to drop off your vehicle in Nosara downtown.
